I have a couple of "tails" so far. Typically just do the speed limit although I have popped it up to 130mph on our local isolated "test" road near at the coast. You can get up there in a hurry but I was actually more impressed with how fast and straight this baby can come to a complete halt ! The belt restrainers have you quite secure but your eye ***** feel like they want to pop out. Anyway , that was my just once event ....

I think the Citroen C6 is more so unique rather than good looking. Just too much junk in the trunk.

I was in a friends non-tinted corolla going to pick up my honda from a friends house, designated driving ftw, and seen it. I was not going to throw my cellphone into the guys face like that to snap a side shot, so I waited untill he went in front.

oh well, the shape seems similiar to what you pictured but the design is way off. this car looked badass, and even sounded it too.

I've owned a lot of cars over the years and this one is by far the best looking, including an '07 Maserati QP. You have to see it in person--pictures absolutely do not do it justice. The rear view is one of the best--similar to a Bentley Continental GT with the flush tail lights that wrap over the trunk. The cab-rearward design and blunt nose make it look very aggressive, especially with 20" wheels.

Yes, it does have a nice growl on acceleration.

It does have a great growl on acceleration and your moving pretty good when you hear it. I have only seen 2 XJ 2011 so far on the road. We get the most compliments from the BMW and Mercedes drivers. What I hate is the "bubbas" pushing pickup trucks that for some reason like to sit on my rear in slow traffic. Of course the first chance I get I show them what a disappearing act looks like. Oh, I don't see the C6 look a like either LOL....

It seems I am getting loads of those big pickup trucks sitting behind me in traffic too. I may just have the 4.0 straight 6, but I still show them what's what.

I don't like the tailpipes. I don't like the rims. I don't like the spoiler. Otherwise, it doesn't look too bad.

Awful. Check out this link....this is a much more aggressive and polished look IMO. If you have picture posting authority and would like to attach them to this string, it'd be appreciated.

I am completely smitten with the new XJ...with one major exception: The universal black panel on the "C" pillar.

HouTexJag mentioned this but since his car is black it is a non issue. To my eye this black panel completely destroys the melodic flow of the body lines otherwise present in the vehicle.

I'm sure there is a logical reason as to why this design element exists but I just can't get past it. Sure, I could purchase the color I want (white) and have the panel sprayed to match but that just seems fundamentally wrong on several fronts.

+1

Those rims wouldn't last too long with all of the pot holes we have around here.
