I tried installing a pair of LED bulbs into the reverse sockets, but they wont light up. This is the second pair I've tried. The first didn't work, so I returned them and bought the second pair from a different seller; still no joy. I've tried reversing the polarity, I've tried switching the bulbs from one side to the other...Nothing. No lights. But when I put the old stock pair back in, BAM! The lights are on.

I was under the impression that the reverse lights were 7506. Is this incorrect?

Also, on a different subject, I was trying to replace the puddle lights under the mirrors. I was able to remove/unplug the light module, but I cant access the actual bulb. Any idea how to get in there?

 

Dear back up bulb,
I have tried 4 different LED bulbs(7506) in my reverse socket. I have tried bulbs from amazon, ebay and superbrightleds.com and NO luck. I even bought some load equalizers to ensure i was getting enough voltage back there, but nothing.
Im out of options. I want to replace them with LEDs but i cant seem to find one that works
