Did Jaguar have a Limited Edition XJ8 in 2005?

Nope!

The only truly limited edition model for 2005 was the XKR Victory Edition. Jag never used a "Limited Edition" badge; at least none I was ever aware of, in any model year.

You can add XKR Silverstone in 2001, and XKR100/XJR100 in 2002 (Sir William Lyons Centenary editions).

The badge pictured is a dealer add.

I guess the 06 Super V8 Portfolio could also be conslidered a limited addition considering 145 were produced. I believe they produced the portfolio in 09 as well.

I've seen those Limited Edition badges on the ebay for $10. They're just generic add-ons that you can stick on any car.

Sorry for my poor verbiage..... I've corrected it in the post. I was actually talking about the 2005 model year specifically, in response to the OP.
