Hello,
I have a 2007 XJ8, and the low coolant light on for quite some time now. Happened after I got it back from the shop after it set there for a few months waiting for the extended service contract to pay for repairs, (someone stole the headlight relay from it while it sat there). I have replaced the reservoir and sensor thinking this to be the problem. The light is still on.i tested the wiring connector and it has some voltage to it during startup but then it drops to 0. So I think that either I have a broke wire just barely making connection and upon full startup, it breaks the contact OR a bad relay. I believe it is the relay but I do not know which one it would be. Is there a relay diagram that shows which one controls the low coolant sensor? I have searched the forums and have only found mention of checking the relay, but not where it is. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If there is no relay for the low coolant switch, where does it connect to?
