Low Coolant warning when only in drive or reverse.
All,
As the title states, I have a low coolant warning displayed on my 2006 VDP. Coolant level is fine with no leaks. Warning goes on ONLY when put in either drive or reverse and stays on the duration the car is in gear. Once it is taken out of gear ie neutral or park, warning disappears. I know probably wiring related, but I don’t even know where to start. “Help Mr. Wizard”
Many thanks,
Dave ( Platinummaker)

Our cars are well known to develop corroded ground points. There are many ground points to check, but a common one to cause problems it right behind the passenger side headlight. It is an Al stud, so be careful not to over tighten else it will sheer off. If you do need to replace it, you need to stick with Al, else you will have galvanic corrosion.
