lower radiator cowl pics?
I just tried to post this and I don't think it took so I am asking again.
Anyone have photos of how the lower radiator cowl is supposed to fit on a 2006 supercharged car?
I am trying to put mine back but it doesn't want to go past the oil cooler piping behind the radiator. I didn't notice if it was above them when I took it down but it came down relatively easy with some tugging and twisting, but it sure doesn't want to go back up.
Here's what I have now:

This is what mine looks like so bear in mind mine is 2005.
On the rear edge of the "tray" there are press on clips.
On the left and right of the tray there are vertical "tabs" about an inch wide that have to fit inside a section of "radiator support/frame" otherwise the tray will not push up sufficiently.
2nd pic shows the tab in the correct position.
The 3rd pic shows the tab not positioned correctly as it is outside of where it should be. The 4th pic shows the tray positioned lower than it should be because of incorrect positioning of that tab.
The 5th and 6th pics show those metal clips on the rear edge of the tray.

There is only one metal clip on my cowl and it doesn't seem to have any protrusions; are these supposed to hook onto something? I'll have another go at it in the morning using your photos as a guide.
At least I got my headlights polished and ready to go back on and they look much better, although there is still some clouding inside; I elected to not try to remove the lenses from the housing but to just leave the inside as is.
Here is a comparison of one done and one not and the second pod in the sink getting the wet-or-dry treatment. I used 3M wet-or-dry in 500 grit steps from 500 to 2500 followed by Meguiar's swirl reducer and a final Meguiar's paste cleaner wax polish.
edit: I reinstalled the headlights this morning and discovered I should have sanded farther down around the edges, especially the top edges, which still haves some roughness. It doesn't affect the headlight function but does affect the cosmetics when you can still see cloudy edges. At least everything lit up as it should.

In the 5th pic of my last post you can see one clip on the back edge of cowl/tray like an upside down letter T. Further along to the right the clip is not on the cowl/tray but on the receiving edge the tray pushes up to.
So the clip that is easy to see came away with the tray when I pulled it down the next one along remained in place. There are about 4 or 5 in all I forget exactly how many.
Headlamps look a lot better!
I cant wait to get my car back on the road. Supercharger arrives Monday 2 days ahead of schedule. Never seen that before with UPS.
Then I will find out whether IO have wired the new IC pump correctly!

Thanks again for the help - it made my morning.
Glad I was able to help.
It was good that I was doing work on my car at this time in the same area you were working on.
So far, for this project, I have upgraded the IC pump, renewed the aux pump, installed wire mesh behind the lower bumper opening to help save oil cooler radiator from stone hits, and upgraded the fog lights to LED.
Just waiting on the SC now.
