Default Lowering X350 rear end

Hi folks, i would like to lower the rear of my car in order to give it a level stance. The car currently sits a little high at the rear and this just ruins the stance/look imo.
Is there an easy way to do this or do I have to take it to the dealer/indy for some electron recalibration?

you can shim the rear sensors

when you go too low you’ll end up with like 3 degrees of negative camber

Have rear bushing been replaced recently? Any work that required loosening the rear control arms? Most sit "too" high in the rear when maintenance work is performed and one critical step is bypassed. Ride height, should be measured before lifting the vehicle from center hub to center wheel arch. Then, before retightening rear control arms the vehicle should be at that height. This is near impossible, or very inconvenient at the least, with the wheels on and vehicle on the ground.

I use a floor jack to raise the rear assembly, without the wheels, to the measured height, then tighten the arms.
Learned this the hard way, when replacing the rear bushing on my xjr.

Hope this helps.

Have you got a photo we can see ? My two X350s both had a "forward" stance, but when one looked at the line of the sill, it was parallel to the ground, (more or less). There is a height calibration software facility with the kit that main agents have. Jaguar independents probably have it too.

To lower the rears without a computer you need to move the rear sensors up,towards the body, i have made some laser cut rear brackets for the sensors that are shorter and give 20/25mm of drop,if you want less then you can shim the bracket down again. I sell kits to do this but am in the UK, Fronts too.

No link its a hobby and i sell a few. Picture a standard pair of rear brackets laser cut from stainless but 8mm shorter.I also do laser cut shims in various thicknesses to lower the front.

Its not as precise as SDD but if you dont have the computer adjusting or changing the heights is an hour of your time on your driveway.I will put up a couple of pictures if you want.

Bolt these straight to the car and it lifts the sensor towards the body and lowers the car around 20mm ish. if you want less put a washer between the bracket and the body.
