I am going to be installing a methanol injection kit I had on one of my other cars onto my XJR while I do some other mods. Questions I have are where to tap power for the pump. Quite honestly this car scares me from an electrical standpoint. Also....for any that may have used methanol injection what size nozzle had you used?

Well piecing together info here its a grab bag to what nozzle size. Still interested in power source info:O)..Or updated nozzle info. people tend not to finish the thread with final results or there wernt any or....

 

Not an XJR but I use a Snow Performance system with a #4 nozzle, which is stated to be 225ml/min.

I'm also using the MAF signal to trigger the pump and a progressive pump controller.

 

Charlie I have the same setup to install. I figured on using MAF. I just had my rotors recoated and blower built so I plan on installing after the SC. One nozzle per side at the SC hat.


Are you using a 50/50 mix? And when are you turning it on?
