Missing the plastic cover of the adaptive cruise sensor
Good news is I finally settled on a well-maintained 2004 XJR with 43K miles! For sale by a local owner and it has a clean carfax. Looking forward to picking it up at lunch time today.
But it is missing the plastic cover (body colored) that covers the sensor for the adaptive cruise. It looks like it would just clip on. It is integrated into the front bumper/air dam.
So, anyone know where I can get one? The body color is dark gray metalic (not sure the "official" Jaguar color yet).
Also, on another note, the previous owner did replace one of the front air suspension assemblies (sold by a third party at 1/3 the price). But it bothers me that he didn't replace the driver's side one while he was at it, but maybe that's just something you do one-at-a-time?

Yep, these last 7-10 yrs so you will need to save up for the drivers side next.
Nice that they can be replaced individually so you get the max use out of them, no? At their ridiculous price, that's a small concession to the poor owner... The car's computer takes care of the calibration, so off you go.
Good luck with new unit! You will love it.

As a matter of interest could you post a picture of the missing cover?
Congratulations I am a big believer in buying used low mileage vehicles.
It's only done about 5.5k /year.
