I am the new owner of a 2006 XJ8 Vanden Plas. Is it possible to set the nav screen to the Jaguar Logo as a default rather than the Menu Screen and then having to set it to the Jaguar Logo each time the car is started?

Good question...I have tried to do this myself. The closest I have come is to press the "Menu" hard button to the left of the screen. The menu is then the default screen whenever the car is started, only have to touch the "Logo" screen icon and you are there.

It would be great if the logo was the default but 1 tough is not so bad.

 

SVL77, are you saying that the screen can be off as default. Right now I have the menu screen as the default screen every time I start the car. I would not mind having a blank screen as default. Can this be done? There is no information the maual regarding this.
