In Need of Air Suspension Sensor Connector 2004 XJ8
Situation is that this forum helped me solve the water intrusion issue in the rear passenger floor, however, the water impacted the air suspension system connector and now there is a constant fault light. Our local Jag mechanic (Abacus Racing in Virginia Beach, VA) did a fantastic job with solving the water issue. We are in need of a connector and i have been advised they are not available and not being made anymore.
Curious if anyone has thoughts as to how I can get one. The alternative is to try to find a complete wire harness which i understand is quite expensive.
Thoughts? and thank you

Hi Steve,
I have moved your post to start your own thread. You could help us help you by explaining which air suspension connector you need. Problems with any of the electrical connectors or air hose connectors can trigger a fault lamp, but I can't think of any air suspension connectors in the rear passenger footwell. The Air Suspension Control Module (ASM) is mounted behind the rear seat back on the right hand side. Do you need one of the connectors that connect to the ASM?
The system was made by Wabco, so you could contact them to see if harness connectors are still available, or you could find a similar car in a salvage yard and just go cut off the connectors you need. Salvage yards rarely pull entire wiring harnesses due to the limited demand and excessive time required, so they'll often let you just cut off connectors you need and pay a few dollars for them.
Please give us more specifics and we'll try to help.
Cheers,
Don

I did away with my air shocks several years ago but left all the sensors, etc. still mounted. Specifically what sensor do you need as there are more than I like to count. Mines an '04 4.2 X350
