Default Need help with Nav system on X350

I have an 05 XJ, and I'm having some problems figuring out the navigation system even with the aid of the manual.

I am trying to store a new destination, but am unable to view a list of stored destinations. The attached photo of the Stored Locations screen shows that I have 15 stored. However, I cannot see a list because the list button is grayed out. How do I get the system to show me the full list?

The second problem is with the Previous Destinations. I have created a new destination which shows on the screen, and I would like to be able to store it so that it will show up under Stored Locations. However, I don't see an option to store the new location. Do I have to wait until I actually travel to the new destination, and then store it while there?

Third, how do I go about editing an existing Stored Location. When I click on the existing destination there doesn't appear to be an option to edit it. How do go about fixing that?

I'm sure there are simple answers, but I just cannot seem to able to navigate to the proper screens.

I was having similar issues. Turns out it was nav DVD. I took it out, noticed dust and small scratches. I a gave it a good cleaning with warm water. Now all works fine. Had to do this twice. Hope your issue is as simple.

The Nav System is intuitive only to Klingons. I had pretty much the same issue with mine. You have to first initialize a location and go there in order for it to be a previous location. I may try the cleaning route also to see if it helps.

I tried cleaning the CD with a micro-fiber cloth but that didn't help. However I was able to create and store a new Memory Point. I was even able to name it. The next time I go to this address I should be able to retrieve the memory point, and then set it as Destination. Once I get there I should be able to store the destination. Still can't figure out why it won't list my stored destinations.

Just accept that it is an awful user interface and developed some time before the X350 cars came out, because they were about 2 years late coming on sale. I believe the head of Jaguar was sacked by Ford because of this, (lateness, not the crap satnav).
