Default New Jag key fob calibration?

My 2007 XJ8 VDP key fob had worn out internal activation rubber key pads, along with two bad contact points and it was only occasionally functional. I purchased an Ebay duplicate for $15. It is identical to the original except, the push to release key knob facia , doesn't have the Jaguar impression. I removed the section containing the original bayonet key & facia and slipped it on the new key module, as it fit perfectly.. Now I have to find a way to get it programmed to my car in order for it to be useful. I won't have to have the provided blank bayonet key reshaped since I am using my original working bayonet key. Any advice on how or where to have it programmed, other than an expensive Jaguar dealer, that I have heard charges$100+?

I recently replaced the case for my 2008 XJ8. I simply moved the electronics and glass capsule to the new fob and it worked fine with no reprogramming needed.
Cheers!
