JTIS is freely available as is the Jaguar Workshop Manual, online.

Download it, take it to your local printers and print it out if you prefer 'a damn book'.

I usually print out the few pages for the job I'm doing and Bob's your Uncle.

A good OBDII reader is a worthwhile investment too, and can be used in cars from many countries.

It's 3 months now and I have just got up to P350 of the Owner's Handbook. You know, before I can drive the car.

Propritary?

I'm guessing that the question mark means you're asking how to spell the word, right?

I subscribe to alldatadiy.com. An annual subscription can be had for $12-14USD if one drills deeply into Google or Bing. While the site is not laid out in an intuitive fashion, there is a 'search' link, but it still takes me time to figure out the 'keywords' the site will recognize. I find it useful for getting Jaguar part numbers then searching the Internet for that part or one that cross references. It's like taking candy from a Jaguar parts counter baby. Too, labor time is shown for most if not all remove and replace jobs. This is not an absolute fix all site but it has helped me save a bunch of $$$ and to know if a Jaguar or indie repair shop is playing me for a fool.
