As an owner of a 2004 XJR, I really appreciate the opinions of so many of you whom love the traditional and distictive lines of the previous XJ's. I must add, however, that the new XJ is a revelation in technology and features as well as style going in a direction that the entire industry has gone. I think the industry forced Jaguar's hand on this one to take the design this direction. It is a truely stunning car in every way but is shockingly different to what we are all used to seeing. I think that Jaguar is only following suit to a world of rapid and sometimes shocking change. I aplaud the effort! After this impecable experience with my XJR I am looking forward to the day I purchase this new one!
