Hi, I'm new here. I've had my 2003 XJ6 3.0 for a couple of years now. I wondered if anyone else had the following issue. I recently purchased a newer satnav DVD. When I loading fit or the first time it said "updating firmware (or software)" when it completed I found I had a different Logo (black on white), however when using the navigation I no longer have directions shown on the speedo the way it used to. Is this the later version? if not how can I revert to the original as this seems a bit of a backward step.

I've copied this from UK Region section to X350 section. Members here with the same model as you have should be able to advise on update versions.

I don't have an X350 any more but according to the user manual you need to go in to the Navigation Menu, select Display Options then select Map Options then switch Message Centre Guidance to On.
