Default No More Headliners

Finally decided to replace my headliner. It turns out it is NLA from Jag for my car.

Bummer.

Has anyone got experience using local upholstery shops to do headliners? Just wondering if it comes out well or if it looks home made...

I haven't done our '04 yet (need to), but I did our '93 and it turned out factory-nice and has lasted several years with no problems. That was the first and only headliner I've ever done, so a good professional shop that does headliners should have no problem producing excellent results.

Cheers,

Don

We had both of our cars headliners re-done by a local shop (x308 and x350). It seems to be a Jaguar weak point.

The work looked like a brand new factory headliner; very nice. It was a little over $400 u.s. to do both cars. Well worth it in my opinion.

I found a good place in Mesquite that was going to do the headliner and sunroof cover for $375.

Just had my XJR done, perfect match and looks great, just have a reputable shop do it.

My guy came to the house and did it in the drive way.

Check the BBB for any complaints before committing.

Thanks to all. I was heartbroken when I saw Jag abandoned my car. Starting to feel better with the good reports!

I just got my estimate from a local dealer who's done the X350 and X358 here in Ft Lauderdale and it was $450. I'm putting that into the October car budget.

Had it done at the local top shop for about $300 on my 2004 XJR. Was very happy with the results.
