Jackra_1: Did I understand correctly, that you bought a 2 sensor rear box for $20 off ebay?
Do you know the part number you use to search ebay?

If so I would willingly pay $20 just to see if the box was the problem before tearing down the rear bumper to get at the sensors!!
Do you happen to have the "link" where you purchased the box from?

Also, do you have any spare sensors I could purchase from you to solve my problem?

I understand this many be "throwing money at the problem" but I just want this fixed.

Also does anyone know whether a rear sensor is the same as a front parking assist sensor?

 

Ok I found my 2 channel control box and 4 sensors for the front one of which is bad.

These sensors are black and I do not know whether they will work in the rear.

I do not know why they would be different.
