Default Oh boy! Air suspension fault

My beautiful car is having problems, the air suspension fault light has been on and off since it got cold. Now - I can feel the problem, it's sitting so low.

Where do you all suggest I take it to? I live in DFW. I just had the tires replaced on this car and our our LR3- funds are low, I need a shop that knows what they're looking at.

I appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks very much.

You have two British cars? You were asking for it!

If you are reasonably handy, you could fix it yourself in a day or so for about $1500 (probably one of your front air shocks leaking) by replacing both of your front shocks and/or your air compressor.

3 actually- we also have a 1941 Austin Champ, with the RR engine.

So, I ended up taking it to Jagmac. They are replacing the air shock thingy. I am not handy at all, my husband only likes to work on the champ.

From what I have gleaned from forums and dealers, the air compressor is the short life component in the system. Such were the complaints when they started to fail that Jaguar introduced a service exchange compressor at about half the cost of a new one to silence the complaints. They don't last any longer, though ! Experienced mechanics can fit one in about 45 minutes

I have had to have one on my car, an XJ6 3 litre of 2003, so it failed after 7 years, (but with only 40k odd miles on the clock).
