Good evening,
I am wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar or can offer any useful advice.
A few months ago the rear parking sensors on my 2007 X358 XJ 2.7 Tdvi would make a constant beep noise when I engaged reverse gear every now and then despite their not being any obstacles near the car. The issue would tend not to occur on my first journey of the day but would occur on any other journey that was taken within a short proximity of my first journey. I visited an independent Jaguar specialist and they couldn't find any faults.
Over the weeks the issue got worse to the point that the constant beep happened every time that I engaged the reverse gear. I needed some other work doing to the car so I visited the same independent specialist and they found that both the middle sensors had errors. These were replaced.
A few weeks later the issue started again. I paid another visit to the same specialist and this time they found the two rear outer sensors had errors, these were replaced.
The issue remained so I went back to the specialist and they discovered that they had been supplied with a faulty batch of sensors. All four rear sensors were replaced under warranty last week. The specialist also removed the rear bumper and checked the wiring however no other issues were found.
Guess what? The issue still occurs. I am waiting to hear back from the specialist to see what the recommend.
Please could someone that has knowledge of this issue offer some advice on what I could do to resolve this.
Much appreciated.

It's the sensors for sure. The Chinese are making them now so it could be that they are
using faulty Chinese ones.
