Help.
I have read thru the thread on BT connection problems, however didn't help. Message comes up as Handset in use.
Mute & replace handset to continue hands free call or replace hndst to end call. there is no handset.
this is the only screen that comes up. Have had battery disconnected for 3 mos. no change. Dealer last said needs a module, didn't ID which module.
I am trying to pair a samsung s3 or s4.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks Rick.

The module would be the PSE aka phone module. It is located in the trunk bellow the CD-changer/Navigation.
Check the connectors are property seated, maybe disconnect/reconnect the battery.

I had this issue after I installed Bluetooth in my 2004 VDP. The issue was the electrical connector on the Bluetooth module in the center console was not seated all the way. I would check this first before replacing the PSE.
