Default Power Steering Fluid

Just wondering what power steering fluid to use. The owners manual does not say. Alldata.com says Dextron 3 (which does not exist as far as I can find), the Dealer parts guy says Jaguar fluid at $36/qt but does not know what's in it, Partstrain says Dextron 2e at $26/qt. Try googling "Dextron 2e" and not a single manufacturer claims making it. Note the spelling of the word "Dextron". This is not the same spelling as the common ATF "Dexron" that many cars use in the power steering including Jaguar as recent as 2003. Since a quart of common Dexron III is around $4,whats in the $25 stuff? It worries me that the right stuff is really the idiotic and fabulously costly mineral oil that is used in Audis, Minis and so on. Pretty frustrating. Does anyone know?

Thanks much, that saves a lot of money over the Jag fluid.
