Hi
The above light doesnt work on my 1998 XJ8, all the other puddle lights are ok, so assume its the specific door switch. before I start dismantling the door can anyone advise where the switch is located?

Have replaced the bulb, but no joy. When I open the door the interior courtesy lights dont come on also, which makes me think it is some form of switch, but which switch and where it is I dont know at this stage, any advice before I strip the door would be appreciated. All other doors work fine with puddle lights and interior courtesy lights.

Any advise on the problem and how to remove the rear door card would be appreciated.

Jeff, Just saw that you are in the 2004 and newer section. You might want to re-post in the series 98-03 section.
