I keep posting this in the wrong forum.

Is there a way to have my 2004 XJR chirp or notify me audible when I lock it with my key fob?

Also, I was told that my transmission cool line had a minor leak, is this incredibly serious? Will my car notify me if the transmission fluid is low? I know there is no dipstick in the car (other than my) but I am trying to recoop some funds from a suspension overhaul before replacing the lines.

Yes it can be set to chirp on the second button press when locking. However, it is a dealer level setting so you either need them to do it, or obtain the hardware and software to do it yourself. I just enabled this on my car.
