The R badges on the XJR are they self adhesive or bolt on?

 

They're self-adhesive.

 

some trim parts can be installed with a double sided adhesive tape. The tape is applied to the part, for instance the R badge, the excess tape is trimmed off using a razor knife then the R badge can be pressed onto the car for final installation. Best applied in warmer weather to a clean surface. good luck Th tape is available at auto supply stores, Walmart etc
