i purchased an ipod fm transmitter called isimple. it hardwires to the factory
radio antenna input. does anyone know were i can purchase some
antenna adapters so i can correctly install and move on to my next project?

Hi there was a previous post that listed a web site that had adapters that would fit a XJ8. The web site was Installer.com in the search box put in 40-EU10. The page that comes up should show the 40-EU10 and the combined 40-EU10 & 20, which has the male and female ends. If you look at the application chart to the left of the page it lists the cars it fits. It shows the X-type and S-type not the XJ8. I called and spoke with them and their answer was to remove the radio and compare the ends. I don't have the time and I'm not sure if I'll have the car long enough to check it out. If you do get the adapters please keep us posted. Thanks George.
