Question Radio Problem - 2008 Vanden Plas - No Sound

Hello all, while installing a new Battery the terminals got crossed. When corrected and the car started up the Radio had a fault message on the screen. I checked the Radio fuse (F38), it was blown so I replaced it. The Head Unit showed as normal but no sound from the Speakers. Checked the Amplifier Fuse (F34) and it too was blown. Replaced it but still no sound. I checked 3 others (F11, F20, and F30) as they seemed to possibly have ties to the Radio but none were blown. Finally bit the bullet and bought a Pre-Owned Amplifier and still no sound. Steering Wheel Controls all work. I'm at the end of the road. Can anyone point me in the right direction from here? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Having the same issue, no sound but all other functions work. Did you ever get an answer or solution to your issue?

Yes! Don't remember how I finally found it but in the Trunk Fuse Box go to fuse #29. The Owner's Manual says it is not used but I put a 5 amp fuse in it and the Radio came back on and has been fine ever since. Hope that helps, I know the misery I went through trying to find it. Let me know...
