I've got a 2008 XJ is it possible to upgrade it to the Alpine system from the XJR if I had the amp and CD changer from a XJR?? Is the wiring there just plug the equipment in?
Or is there any other option

I have the 2008 XJ Vanden Plas in black too, the only difference I see it that I took my wheels to a repair show that paints/powder coats them and had them powder coated "Black", boy what a difference that made, now everyone that I see says, "I want that car!" Yours looks to be in better condition than mine as I have been rear ended by a "texter", backed up into the front end by an idiot that decided to back up off a main street into the Starbucks where I was sitting behind him waiting to pull out and then I had a crazy bi**h pull out of a parking spot in a garage and take the entire front end off and when she realized what she had done, she then backed up and finished destroying the front end. I have had it repaired each time, but it had taken a toll.

Since my wife won't let me play the same Pink Floyd I had in my XJ6 in the 70's, we have taken to sitting in silence with the odd dull roar.
Although, I do manage to sneak out sometimes.
BTW, Nice Car!
