Question Rear blind malfunction

My 2007 VDP has a blind in the rear window. It was working fine but has stopped recently. I can hear what I think is the motor/actuator trying to move (so it's not a fuse) but it doesn't lift. Anyone got any experience of repairing these?

TIA

Try pulling it up with your fingers while wife operates the switch.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Do you have a wife in mind who could help?
