Default Rear differential leaking

Hi,
On my 2006 XJ8l the rear differential is leaking, it’s not enough to drop the the floor but I have to address it sooner or later.
From what I see it’s only on passenger side, so I guess it is just the axles seal. How difficult is the work. Drop the axle or is it possible to just pull out the CV axles and replace the seal.
Any advise is highly appreciated!?
what fluid should I use for refill and how much?

Thanks

seal is XR821244/National 71085
