I am trying to find a solution to something I've not encountered before. The "isolator" bushing for the differential on my rear subframe has deteriorated and I cannot seem to find a replacement.
On the above photo #5 would be what is needed, but this diagram is not from a x350/x358, but is from an XE and I have no idea if the busing is compatible, but I would be highly doubtful. Jaguar says the bushing is not available for a x350 outside of purchasing an entire rear subframe, and the subframe isn't available anymore either.
As a attempt I contacted Ford and checked on a Lincoln LS and a Thunderbird to see if there might be something there for the "similar architecture." The Thunderbird had a listing for the bushing as an "isolator" but it was no longer available either. I presume the only way forward is to get a used part or to find someone to make a poly bushing insert?
Has anyone else encountered this problem and if you did came up with a solution?
You need to look in the S-type catalogue. You do not identify the year and model of your car but generally 2003 and on S-Types are similar to 2004 and later X350 diffs.

Any idea what that might be? I'm pretty sure I checked the S-type catalog as well, but I could be wrong. I was exploring Ford as sometimes they have a bit more forgiving catalog.
I had ones for my IRS equipped t bird made out of UMHV material. Personally Id hit up a junkyard and get used low mile factory ones if you cant source them
