Replaced throttle body coolant hose, but still wants to overheat
Over the weekend I pulled the intake manifold and replaced the throttle body cooling hose, which had split.
After reassembling the car, including replacing all that brittle vacuum tubing, I thought everything was good. No leaks, no error codes, running smooth.
Then the temperature started to creep up. I shut the car down, hearing the electric fan continue to run.
After it cooled down a bit, I started it back up. A few minutes later, the fan kicked on again. The temperature started rising again, so I shut it down.
I'm about to pull the thermostat housing and check it, then I guess the water pump. Any other ideas?
Cheers,
Dwayne

Thats a move in the right direction.
While things are apart.
Spend some time looking things over
Looking for things that might need replaced soon.
Trying to avoid, taking apart what you just fixed.
