I need a spare key for my 2008 Jaguar XJ8 (The car was delivered with one key).
I am in Suriname South America, where there is no Jaguar or Ford dealer.
Can you deliver replacement keys for this jaguar with vin number SAJWA71B98SH20207?

I had the same issue. I hate having only one key because you never know. Anyway, my Jaguar mechanic purchased a key from the dealership and got the instructions to program it but it would not work. I had to take it to the dealer to get it programmed. I was told there are several security layers that only the dealer can over ride to program the key.

 

My dealer wants to charge $80 valet key + $130 programming. Anyone know a cheaper alternative?
