Repressurizing air suspension.
I will be replacing the valve block on my 2006 Vanden Plas. The procedure on Alldatadiy.com says, "Where required, using the Jaguar approved diagnostic system pressurize the air suspension system." Does anyone know if this is necessary on my car? If so, can I likely drive it to a repair facility that has the diagnostic system without doing harm to the air suspension?
My take on this is that the Jaguar diagnostic system is able to run the air compressor without the engine being started. I suspect that once you've done all the work, you just start the engine and the system will automatically re-pressurise. You might have to recalibrate the ride height, though. This needs the Jaguar system, but at least you should get the car up in the air and off the bumpstops
