Hey guys I just got a 2006 xj8l and I absolutely love the thing, the only thing I don't enjoy much is the engine noise. It's way to quiet for my liking. I saw some thread about removing the middle resonators and replacing them with an x or h pipe but these all seem to be for s-type models and none I have found were for the xj8l. If any of you guys have either done this yourself of have seen a thread talking about this I would really appreciate it.

The layout of the exhaust on the Xj8l and the S-Type are fairly similar.

I have just done a Muffler delete on the 4.2l(non super) and it sounds wonderful.

the sound damping by the cabin is enough to keep any drone out i have found.

All i get is a ROAR!!!
