Hey guys i Have a pretty clean 2005 xjr Silver with the 20'' 2 piece Sepang wheels. I scrape one wheel parking yesterday. I live near a wheel finisher and decided to get a quote on refinishing . Power coating all four with a high gloss clear. The quote was $1400 including separating the halves,repair the metal damage, powered coat and finished in a high gloss. He had just finish a set on a Ferrari, Silver with metallic.Looked beautiful but not sure I liked the sparkle in the finish for the xjr. I'm thinking of a BMW or Mercedes silver color does any one have a Oem color. I like the color that are on there now which i'm not sure is original. He Also ask me if I wanted the outer rim to be in a high gloss finish almost chrome. Not sure I,d like this either, I'm thinking it will make the rim look smaller. Any thoughts?
