Default Shirley you can't be Siruis!!

Well - I was in the process of hooking up my Siruis, and lo and behold, the antenna won't stick anywhere on the aluminum body!!! Anyone have any experience with a work-around?

I myself would prefer it on the rear glass than stick on the bodywork, I am sure rear view mirror fix would work, be a lot easier to clean up if you want to remove it from glass to paint at a later date.

I think it would look stupid on glass--not sure but putting it on the rearview mirror may affect the dimming mirror features.

I think he was referring to rear view mirror adhesive to use on the rear screen...

Thanks for the input - Since this is a summer car, it gets taken off each fall, so I really don't want anything too permanent..I'm thinking of using the rear package shelf. - Just not sure how it will work inside the car.

Mine is attached to the dash on the passengers side. You want to make sure you place it for good reception.

Mine is on the dash as well pushed as far forward as I could get it..

This was on a previous XJ8 but my new one is basically in the same spot, I think its more between the speaker and the air vent..

Thanks for all the help. I now have mine in the rear package shelf, and I'll see how the reception is.

Cheers!!

I tried the far left corner of the rear package shelf, and I had a few very intermittent losses of signal. I moved the antenna closer to the centre, and reception has been fine so far!

Thanks again
