simple transmission question i hope, when doing fluid level/inspection 6hp26
just double checking. when doing fluid level inspection on 6hp26. the car should be in park and at idle(engine running) when reading temp and allowing fluid to level out at fill plug, correct?

BTW besure and check that electrical connection sleeve.
