Question Slightly off topic - Loading car image in signature using iPad1

Forumisters,

I use the 1st edition iPad to connect to the forum and my ipad has no camera, yet I have a picture of my car in the iPad's photos app folder. I'd like to add the picture to my signature. How can I upload it?

The forum does not allow me to attach a picture stored locally, and only gives me an option to specify the URL of the server where the image is. Is this correct and how else can I do it?

I have heard of goodies being ppened up or granted to active forum members. Did I hear right, and if so, what are those goodies moderators would avail to active forum contributors and what are related T's & C's?

As long as you have a 'link' somewhere to reference in your signature, you can add a picture there. First, you'll need to start an album of your own...either in the photo gallery, or your garage. From there, you can 'copy the link location' and use it (by pasting it as an IMG tag, see envelope icon above) into your signature. Make sense?

Maybe it's me or my non-camera basediPad! I can go up to the page to upload pictures, but buttons to press and select pictures from my own computer are disabled. The only field I could capture details for is the URL. Since I'm not yet using public tools or sites for storing images, I cannot use the URL to specify the location of the image. If only it could enable the buttons to allow me to browse to my internal drive or picture gallery folder of the iPad to upload the image, I'd be happy.

Meanwhile, do you know anything about the goodies moderators avail to regular forumisters?

Default Uploading Pictures Problem Solved

iPad 1st edition was the culprit. I uploaded them from a desktop and "walla!", problem solved! Thanks a ton.

The Cat's garage doesn't have exotic pictures yet, but I've included some pictures of territories and food it has conquered and devoured respectively. You can see them at its den (garage)

It's a real picture of my vehicle. The road is paved in concrete and the road engineers didn't use asphalt. i like driving on country roads.
