2004 XJR 152,000 I've owned the car about a year. this started a few months ago My car blows gray smoke on start-up after it's sat for a while also on wot . It also has black liquid out the tailpipe on mornings. Can anybody give me some thoughts on this?

This is not uncommon I have had it myself a couple of times
I reckon it's due to oil deposited in the pipewok from the sump to the TB
via the PCV valve.
I think that this occurs when it's driven around town a lot.
I suggest that you find a section of quiet straight road and kick it
down a couple of times and it should clear it.
