steering column lock

Does the x350 have a steering column lock? The service manual and electrical schematics show one, but I know for a fact that my steering wheel is free to turn without the key inserted.

Not the US models. I even dropped the upper column looking for the SCLM module - not there - so I now ignore the SDD not responding message
