The wood on the current steering wheel is sun faded, has cracks at the top and simply doesn’t match the rest of the wood trim inside. I was going to let it slide until my wife made a comment about it and that’s when I knew what I had originally thought needed to happen. A swap was very much needed…..

Bought a VDP wheel with LEG leather and the wood seemed to match my wood trim. When I received it, it’s not a perfect match but 1 - it matches better with a darker stain 2 - no cracks or major scratches and 3 - it came from a VDP which I absolutely love + 4: Price was great!!

What do you guys think? Swap or not? Also, any thing to watch out for to ensure it fits (are they compatible)?

It was definitively and impulsive purchase so I hope it fits…..
