I've talked to 5 Jaguar dealers only two were able to give me a serial # of the radio that corresponds to the vin#. With that I've talked to the corporate office in NJ witch gave me a code. After interring the code three times it says "WAIT". I was told by the corporate office it might take 45min before the radio should work. Drove for over an hour with radio turned on ... no worky!!! Any one have any suggestions? Sure would appreciate it.

My first suggestion would be to post in the XJ40 section on this forum.

This is the NEW XJ (AKA X350) forum.
Have you pulled the radio and looked at the ACTUAL radio serial number????

Radios get replaced all the time and your original radio might be in a landfill somewhere. I replaced dozens of radios when I worked at the Jaguar dealer.
I placed the NEW radio code cards in the glove cubby but they seem to get lost over time.

Calling with a VIN is not a good idea with a car that is over 20 years old!!!
