Still get compliments on your X350/358?
A recent addition to our family, my XJ8 in BRG, gets admiring glances and comments wherever I go and my Greyhound simply loves the stretching out on the rear seat when she isn't showing off with her head out of the window.. It is very clean but will be having DiamondBrite treatmment shortly so should be like just out of the showroom.

Personally, I would replace the grill with mesh as the first order of business.
Cheers,
Have to say that having one of each, both do look great. The mesh is more attractive, but if your hood cable should break the older grill, might be easier to work with, to get the latches open.
My XJ8L gets many compliments here in Dubai where anything other than the latest model is either 'last year, man' or a very rare classic! They do not associate my car with the XJ351? However, there are many S -Class Mercedes Benz from the same era here that now look very dated?
Personally, I just want to say that when I boot my cat hard round a tight right hander (slow lane) and the guy outboard of me who is trying his best is sagging off to leeward and my baby is leaning into the corner, it confirms in me the belief that ECATS is the real deal, never mind the problematic air suspension!

In Korea it's hard to find foreign cars. >90% of cars are Korean.
I'm lucky enough to presently have the space for the last three generations of XJ on my drive - X350, a fake X358 (My X350 XJR that was facelifted ten years ago), and an X351 current generation launch model.
I get a lot of dog walkers stopping to chat about my cars and the 'X358' gets the most compliments about 2:1, and I personally believe is the most attractive of my XJs because there are very few other cars that look even slightly like it. It gets more feedback then my F-Type, which only really attracted stop-and-chats for the first few months after getting it. I think because the X358 still has the instant appearance of a Jaguar that has been around for so long that it is a cultural icon that many people have stories about, like a classic Mini or a Beetle, but it is a bit more aggressively styled that it makes people want to ask questions about it.
If I lost my X351 I would just get another one to replace it, but I will be genuinely saddened when my X350s go to car heaven.

I use parking facilities in Manhatten fairly often since I wouldn't dare park my 05 super v8 on the street. the parking attendants always have glowing remarks.... and they see and drive many high end cars every day. one of the pleasures im sure many of you have experienced is waiting in the que to have your car brought around , and after the endless line of generic sedans , see your beauty come around the corner. like seeing your child being born isn't it
