Default Successful install of video module !!!!

It was successfully installed by a professional shop today.. Took them about 3 hours to complete and it looks great and works flawlessy!!! I will post pics in a few minutes .... Im excited as thats 2 successful upgrades in 2 wks ! First the xenon fogs and now the video module........ Alacantra Headliner I think is next....

Started getting prices today . One guy quoted me at 650$ !!! Not looking to spend all that to be honest. I think that's rather expensive....

How much for parts? How much for labor? How do you select video as a source and how do you control it? I assume you are using the Alpine DVD from the rear entertainment package?

ok . so the module was 300$ the labor was 150$ i have 2 switches (look factory and hidden. 1 switch lets me activate the rear dvd player and the 2nd switch lets me activate the aux jack in rear seat console so i can use either my iphone or the factory dvd... well worth every dollar. I will be installing a rear camera in a wk or so once I research them..... If you want let me know ill call the guy for the module . He wants 350 but I can talk him down to 300... Thats what I paid.....

Bought the rear camera on eBay for 140$ it is the kenwood CMOS 200. Cost me 70$ to install so far everything works great

the headliner is on my to do list as it has begun to sag.......problem is im either doing it in suede or ill thumb tack the summ ma bitch lolol

Suede, it is cheap and easy. Make certain they use automotive grade fabric that is UV resistant otherwise it will turn horrible colors over time.

I'm ready to do it myself I swear... Does anyone know how much I would need to do all the pillars and the sunroof and headliner?
