Hello ALL; so on last month, the battery in my Range Rover Sport was wigging out on me; so being my very close friend works @Orielly's (he's actually the store manager) I decided to get THIS battery from there. It's the battery described in the title. (The link is to the 3 different ones in the group 49 size)

Anyways, I knew that my car took the same size battery as the truck; over the weekend, the battery died pretty much on the car, so I called my friend & told him I needed another; I took the battery out the car (used 1 of my smaller cars, connecting the booster cables from the smaller car to the cables of The Jag when I removed them from the old battery so I wouldn't lose much, took it to Orielly's, & whadda you know,,,,,,,,,,, it's the EXACT same battery as the Jaguar battery I took out to the T!!! I mean, absolutely identical literally!!! They were even like, GA'DU~METE!!! Hahaha (you may have to say that aloud a few times to get it)

But yeah, just giving everyone a heads up on that. Here's the specs on it...

I thought you would be interested to know that O'Reilly's batteries are made by Johnson Controls, the same company that makes batteries for Walmart, AutoZone, Sears, Advance, Interstate, Pepboys, Costco, and many automakers. JC also owns Varta, who made the original equipment X350 batteries as well as many Bosch batteries. The Duralast Gold battery I purchased from AutoZone is probably the same battery you purchased from O'Reilly, and the specs for Walmart's Everstart are also similar:

All the major-brand batteries sold in the U.S. are made by either JC, Delphi, Exide, or East Penn, with JC being the largest. I think I read that as of a few years ago they are the largest automotive battery manufacturer in the world.

P.S. I'm a big fan of O'Reilly and would have purchased my battery there but they didn't have one in any store in our area, but AutoZone did so they got my business.

Don, I did know that JC made a bit of the batteries, but I didn't know they made them ALL! Hahaha

Funny, I see ppl swearing by the Varta/OEM only, when in fact, on this case, there really isn't, or then again, I guess they're all OEM!..
