I have a squealing noise coming from the engine. I thought one of the belts needed tightening. When I took the car(2004 XJR) into the dealer, I was told that I needed to replace the supercharger pulley, tensioner etc. Does this sound correct?
Also, what is a good sight to order parts for my car. I am in need of a side marker assembly(Driver's side, front) and bulbs for my side lic. plate lamps. Thanks...

 

There was a TSB for the tensioner, must not have been done. Nalley Jaguar, a sponsor here, has competitive pricing, there are also a few other websites like jag bits and Coventry West and ebay. The bulbs are available at any autoparts stores.

if you have to replace the pully, look into getting a higher performance pully. more hp more fun.

 

The Eurotoys 3lb pulley is great,but needs a bit of machining of the supercharger snout. They also have a 1.5lb pulley which needs no modifications :-)
