Default Suspension/brake question

At low speeds when I tap the brakes there is a clunk. At first, I thought that this was a some feature of Jag brakes that apply the rear brakes first as an anti-dive feature. Now I am not so sure. The main suspension culprits seem to be sway bar links and bushings? Is that where I should look first? The rubber boots on the upper control arm have rotted away. Incredible! The car has only 54k miles.

Default Take to alignment shop

I had to replace ALL the arms and links in my 2006 in 2015.
Also check the rear toe adjusters.
A good alignment shop can find all the worn parts by movement.
I think Ford spec the wrong rubber on all these parts. They disintegrate to fast. These are Lemforder and only the Jag, Ford, and Lincoln parts they build do this. They are all the same. I used Ford dealers for most parts and Rock Auto for the rest.

If rubber boot condition is any indication then the front links are OK but I will be replacing the rear links.
