Default Trip Computer Question

I can't find in the downloaded X350 handbook how to zero the trip computer or what is the difference in the fore and aft positions of the turn signal stalk. Any advice from the experts? Thanks

To the bottom left of the dashboard where the fuel release cap and the boot release button are is the A-B Reset button.

Press the left stalk trip button until you either get the A:???? or B:??? on the Instrument cluster this will allow you to press and hold the reset button until it zero's. A quick press of the A-B reset button switches between A trip and B trip.

The fore and aft on the turn signal stall switch between main beam and full beam headlights.

Hope that helps.

That helps immensely. And a slap of my forhead about the fore aft quiestion, the answer to which I discovered driving home from a club meeting tonight. Duh! My only excuse is that I am used to the Series IIIs (and nearly every other car I own) where you pull the lever to toggle between high and low.

Tomorrow I'll check out the A-B shift, and see what is already recorded there before I zero them. BTW, the Nav told me where this car's home was in Houston; too bad I had no time to go there and perhaps learn some of its history before driving it back to Arkansas. The Nav also told me it had been to Hooters which says something about the previous owner, too.

Thanks again.

I too checked out the previous owners destinations. Could not afford the restaurants listed. Go figure.

Yeah, and I probably couldn't afford Hooters if momma was along if you know what I mean.
