Trying to build LSD for my 2005 XJR

I thought the same but frankly as the years pass, I find my lead foot closer to titanium. I'm constantly on the lookout for distracted drivers. The car alone distracts drivers, adding to that, their textograms, instasnap and whatnots....God @ 59, I feel like 70 sometimes. Think I'll go sit on my front porch and yell at some kids.

I hear you Sean. I am the same way.
I just redid a brake bleed of the rear brakes with my pressure bleeder and took the car for a run.
No ride height messages since I did the leveling with my JLR SDD the other day and I am pleased with the ride height now.
Brakes are definitely not what they were so will do them again with the engine running this time and use the brake pedal in conjunction with the pressure bleeder.
While on the run this afternoon a kid drove for about a mile within 4-5 feet of my rear bumper. This was in a 30 mph zone and I was doing 40. No other cars behind the kid.
Oh and from a standing start at a stop sign both rear wheels burned rubber on kick down for a while. Traction control off.

So I took the back plates off both.
The number of splines on the pinion gear and crown gear are the same on both units.
However the numbers/letters stamped on the face of the pinion gears are quite different.
Since the spline counts are identical there should not be an issue right?

NM ... saw the numbers in a later post and they are not backlash numbers.

Just stand on the brakes and watch the phone fly out of their
hands and the latte spray the windshield.
